Registered Nurse (RN) for their Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) .

About the Opportunity:
As a CVICU RN at this premier trauma center, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery and other complex procedures. You will work collaboratively with a team of physicians, specialists, and other nurses to provide exceptional, life-saving care.
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor the hemodynamic, respiratory, and neurological status of critically ill patients.
Implement and manage complex care plans, including medication administration, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Respond to critical situations, including cardiac arrest and other emergencies.
Provide comprehensive patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain a sterile environment and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in CVICU care and best practices.
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of California.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting.
Proven experience in caring for critically ill cardiovascular patients.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with advanced monitoring equipment and ventilation technology.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
