Position Overview

As the Director of IT Operations for our fast-growing national coffee chain, you will lead the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT support teams and processes, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your expertise will drive the performance standards and service levels of our IT Support and Procurement teams, both at headquarters and in the field. You'll oversee the management of Help Desk requests, budgeting, project initiation, vendor relationships, and team mentoring. Collaborating closely with other departments, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth efforts, including implementing new technologies and optimizing ITSM and Procurement solutions. We're seeking a self-driven, organized leader with keen business acumen and a passion for fostering team development in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align support strategies with departmental goals and growth objectives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver roadmaps and solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Implement and maintain SOP, policies, and security standards:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI, ITGC, etc.)
  • Establish and monitor key IT Support and Procurement metrics
  • Oversee projects to ensure timely delivery and value creation
  • Define technical standards for tools and processes

  • Develop and manage annual CAPEX projects and budgets
  • Mentor and lead the IT Support and Procurement teams

  • Define roles, expectations, and provide leadership development opportunities

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience, required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT-related roles, with at least 3 years in a comparable managerial position, required
  • Strong experience with IT Support, ITIL methodologies, and procurement practices
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or ITSM technologies preferred
  • Certification in PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL is a plus
  • Strong experience with procurement, inventory, asset and lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex IT concepts
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Location Requirement

This position is required to be in Phoenix, AZ area and is required to be in office 4 days per week
