S/He is responsible for establishing corporate quality assurance system and promotes customer satisfaction that positively impacts the financial performance of the Company. RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Quality Assurance Manager, Aviation Oversee the interface with customers, FAA, and other regulatory agencies with respect to Quality. Manages and Directs the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments. Assure airworthiness of all aircraft articles IAW approved/acceptable tech data. (Safety Sensitive) Coordinate with the FAA and EASA on activities requiring acceptance of the Administrator. These include, but are not limited to, implementing changes to the repair station Ops Spec, Repair Station Manuals and FAA approved training Program. Reviewing and updating of the Repair Station Manuals and Procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Establish a monitoring system ensuring that all Federal Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Approved and Accepted Technical Data, Service Bulletins (SB’s), Service Letters (SL’s), etc. are current when requested and controlled. Make available to Operations up-to-date technical data needed for accomplishing the necessary maintenance activities. Establish a system that maintains records of all work performed by this Repair Station in a manner easily accessible upon request. Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory specifications. REQUIREMENTS: Senior Quality Assurance Manager, Aviation Must be a certified A&P Mechanic and/or have a FAA Repairman Certificate. 5+ years of component maintenance experience at a repair station or airline. A minimum of 1 year of return parts to service/ inspection experience. Thorough understanding of applicable FAA regulations & inspection methods, techniques & equipment used to determine quality or airworthiness. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Services & Adobe products. Familiarity with Quantum or other ERP. In-depth knowledge and understanding of FAA and EASA regulations. AS9100 / ISO9001 auditor experience and a bachelor’s degree are strongly preferred.
