**21st Century Equipment** **Transportation Specialist** **Ogallala, NE - Full Time** 21st Century Equipment in Ogallala, NE has a full-time position open for a **Transportation Specialist** for local and some over-the-road hauling of over-sized loads. Applicant must have current class A CDL and pass DOT physical, plus minimum 1 year experience with clean driving record. This position will be responsible for general truck maintenance, paperwork and safety reports. Basic knowledge of farm equipment helpful.

Must be able to lift 75 lbs., mount/dismount/secure equipment to trailer in a safe & secure manner, and work in harsh weather conditions.

**Trucking Coordinator** **WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Service Manager** **JOB SUMMARY:**

Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. You may be asked to instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):** * Safely transport equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also participate in custom hauling. * Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts. * Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy. * Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties. * Report daily to trucking coordinator for assignments. **EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:** * 1+ years experience as semi-trailer truck operator. * High School Diploma or equivalent experience. **SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:** * CDL License **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** * Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly. * Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions. * Must be able to mount, dismount and secure equipment to trailer in all weather conditions in a safe and secure manner. *********THIS COMPANY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, INTERPRET, OR APPLY THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IN ANY WAY THE COMPANY DESIRES.
