Job Description:

We are is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry Level Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of corporate events, client meetings, and team functions. As an Events Assistant, you will work closely with the Event Coordinator and other team members to ensure the success of various events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in event planning and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, creative environment.

Pay:

$17.50 - $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, including meetings, conferences, and corporate functions.
  • Support logistics such as booking venues, arranging catering, and coordinating transportation.
  • Help prepare event materials, including invitations, agendas, and signage.
  • Maintain communication with vendors, clients, and staff to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Assist with event set-up and breakdown, ensuring everything is organized and ready.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including handling attendee registration and troubleshooting any issues.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and assist in gathering feedback to improve future events.
  • Manage event-related administrative tasks, such as scheduling, filing, and maintaining event databases.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and maintain brand consistency.
  • Perform other event-related duties as assigned by the Event Coordinator or supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in event planning or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong interest in event planning and a desire to learn the industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
