Position Summary: The Operations Training Coordinator plays a vital role within the Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit located in Scarborough, Maine. In this position, you will provide training support and coordination to the Operations team, ensuring employees are adequately trained to perform their roles effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Operations Training Supervisor to ensure all training objectives are met and provide support on priority projects.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training needs, including maintaining accurate paper and electronic training records.
  • Present trainings as requested and develop/improve training tools.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation training and support onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with established business policies and track employee training requirements.
  • Exhibit professional behavior with internal and external associates, reflecting positively on the department and company.
  • Understand and adhere to quality standards and perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Flexibility to meet evolving needs with limited notice or guidance.

Basic Qualifications | Education:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in a professional environment.
  • Prior experience using CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and providing training.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher in manufacturing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of medical device manufacturing and knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Literacy and comprehension of standard operating procedures and manufacturing documents.

Competencies:

  • Ability to work both independently with moderate supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, manufacturing, and word processing software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose solutions independently.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
  • Openness to receiving and implementing constructive criticism.
