We are looking for a skilled Product Manager with a deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience in banking and payment technology to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary:
As a Product Manager at FINBOA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking. Leveraging your expertise in UI/UX design, payment systems, and knowledge of banking core systems, you will oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle for developing and enhancing our process automation platform, which integrates with payment systems. FINBOA is a growth business with a fast-paced development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate the product strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and user needs. Lead the product from concept to launch and beyond, setting the direction for future enhancements.
- UI/UX Leadership: Drive excellence in UI/UX design, advocating for user-centric design practices. Be able to create UI/UX designs in FIGMA.
- Market and User Research: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights into customer needs and behaviors. Use this data to inform product development decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, marketing, customer support, technical writing, and sales teams to ensure product objectives are met. Facilitate communication across departments to ensure smooth product development and launch processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and monitor its performance post-launch. Gather feedback and make data-driven decisions to enhance product functionality and user satisfaction. Provide support around product questions that are posted on team chat boards.
- Banking Technology Expertise: Apply your knowledge of banking core systems, payment systems, and online banking technology to develop secure, reliable, and compliant products. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure our products lead the market.
- Bachelors or Masters in Business, Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong UI/UX design portfolio.
- Proven experience in the banking or fintech industry, particularly with online banking and banking cores.
- Exceptional understanding of user-centered design principles and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data in making product decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
