The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing project estimation, planning, scheduling, execution, and successful completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable to change, and proficient in project management tools like MS Project and Microsoft Excel. The Project Manager will take the lead on all stages of a project: from construction estimation and analysis of project scope to project team management, analyzing progress, implementing solutions, and effectively communicating with stakeholders. The primary objective is to achieve project efficiency and deliverables within budget and schedule while staying at the forefront of industry best practices. 5+ years experience required. Job requirements Must be highly competent in reading, interpreting, and analyzing blueprints/ plans, technical specifications, diagrams, reports, and other project related technical documents. Must possess in depth knowledge of construction materials and methods Must be able to cerate project schedules including incorporation of subcontractor trades, GC workforce/resource allocation, submittal processes, and inspections to ensure project is on schedule. Must be detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills to manage people, multiple tasks, resources, and deadlines effectively. Must possess strong reading & writing skills, basic math skills including multiplication, addition, subtraction and addition of decimals or fractions. Must be solution oriented and can collaborate with other team members to problem solve. Must be physically capable of visiting all areas of the jobsite, which may require climbing stairs, ladders, or scaffolds. This job requires the ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, or carry objects in excessive of 30 pounds. Must be able to: create and send emails; create, save, edit files and organize them into server/ local folders; digitally markup/ annotate various project documents and incorporate them into RFIs, emails, etc.; create/ schedule meetings, including e- meetings; facilitate online meetings (Teams). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Teams, Project and Outlook; PDF editor (such as Bluebeam); Management software (such as Fieldwire or ProCore). Must be an excellent communicator to interact with team members, subcontractors, clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders. This includes written and verbal skills. Must be diligent about risk management on the jobsite. The ability to identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ensures that specifications and regulations outlined in project documents are implemented in the field. Create and manage RFIs; Work in collaboration with Project Manager, Project Engineer, and other team members to reach resolution. Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges that may affect project costs and propose strategies to mitigate them. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of estimates, quotes, and project-related information. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate and timely project estimates, including change orders and scope adjustments. Effectively communicate and present estimates to clients, addressing their questions and concerns professionally. Lead all on the project team by ensuring essential resources are supplied, including time, budget, communication, and technological support. Create and communicate project deadlines- ensuring project engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors are aware of deadlines and are working to meet them. Ensure project progress by identifying and addressing issues before they reach critical stages. Communicate clearly and openly with project stakeholders, ownership, and project team. Provide consistent project updates and status reports. Collaborate with team members to address issues and ensure a harmonious working environment. Implement latest industry best practices. Need to maintain a safe work environment. Attend training courses and workshops to enhance skills and expertise. Proactively identify problems and provide solutions to improve project management methodologies. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or a related field (Master's preferred) or proven experience as a Project Manager, with 5-10 years in the construction industry. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Bluebeam, and Team Foundation Server. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills.
