Stacy and Witbeck is seeking a Vice President of Finance who will oversee all financial matters for the organization. Our company is growing aggressively--you will be instrumental in the analysis and forecasting of financial trends to advise our CFO and executive team in the strategic planning of our business. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance--equivalent proven experience as a substitute
10+ years in an accounting position preferred with 5+ years of managerial experience required.
Understanding of tax law, regulations, and financial reporting
Sophisticated communication skills
Occasional travel required
This person will need to live in the Bay Area region and report regularly to the office
Job Description and Duties:
Serve as a financial advisor to the CFO and executive team.
Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation collaboration.
Oversee and track revenue and expenses.
Lead and manage the G&A budgeting process.
Review financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance
Traditional financial health of the organization includes quarterly, annual, and 5-year forecasting
Includes forecasting to year-end to base tax payments upon.
Familiarity with construction accounting required
Joint Venture accounting required
