Food Server Job Description:

We are seeking personable and professional Food Servers to join our team for on-demand roles at various dining establishments. Ideal candidates are those who excel in providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities (Varies by Business):
  • Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed information when asked.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization.
  • Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drink orders, ensuring guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience.
  • Check-in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.
  • Clear tables promptly after guests have finished their meals.
  • Prepare final bill, process payment, and thank guests for their visit.
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules and regulations.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service, responding to requests and resolving issues efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a Food Server, Waiter, Waitress, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Attentiveness and patience for customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active listening and effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
