Operates a point-of-sale cash register and participates in the daily operations of the ALSAC Gift Shop including customer service, sales, and inventory control. - Maintains positive employee, staff, patients, patient family, and guest relationships.

Description:

Keeps Gift Shop shelves stocked with merchandise.? Inform the Gift Shop Manager when items are nearing depletion.? Orders new items when necessary.? Keeps stock room and storeroom areas in order. Assists in designing attractive displays to entice customers most effectively. Completes daily housekeeping duties, such as dusting, straightening displays, and keeping the sales floor and cash register area free of boxes. Receives and checks in merchandise.? Accounts for all items received by Gift Shop.? Prices/displays merchandise within 24 hours of receipt. Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
