As the Legal Executive Assistant at this DC law firm, you will take a lead role in managing busy desks for a motivated team of attorneys. You are a calendar magician, ensuring travel needs are in order, appointments in-person and virtually are scheduled, and all meeting materials are prepared, and you communicate with a client-mind and exude diligent professionalism. About the Job: Manage competing schedules, complex travel arrangements, and client deadlines. Act as a liaison coordinating communication between the internal contacts, clients, and external contacts; establish and maintain professional business relationships. Edit and proofread legal documents. Maintain accurate paper and database client files and documents. Prepare and process expenses and client billing needs, following up on invoicing concerns and communicating cross-departmentally. Prioritize a constantly changing workload with inflexible deadlines all while maintaining a high level of performance. You have a four-year degree and at least five years’ experience supporting a high-level Executive, preferably within a law firm. Legal-minded. Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures is a plus. Hardworking. You can manage multiple projects, peak workloads, and changing priorities in a deadline driven environment. Flexible. You can adjust your work style to fit the needs of the attorneys. Service oriented. You have excellent interpersonal skills and always put the client first to deliver top service. Excellent technical skills.
