Content Writing Specialist

Overview:
The Content Writing Specialist is responsible for producing content for internal and external communication tools, including the colleague portal, facility-wide emails, website, community publications, press releases, promotion materials and advertising. The Content Writing Specialist works as part of the Internal Communication Team, reporting directly to the Internal Communication Coordinator, and also assists the Digital and External Communication Teams with writing and editing.
Responsibilities:Written Communication
* Creates content to ensure colleagues, patients and the community are informed about NAH.
* Proactively manages content to ensure internal and external alignment of messaging while adhering to brand guidelines.
* Writes digital and print content that clearly and concisely communicates NAHs goals, services and key messaging.
* Creates engaging content to promote awareness of NAHs services, community involvement and community support.
* Writes and edits content following AP Style and NAH Writing Style Guidelines to achieve various reading levels and voices to effectively communicate NAHs diverse messaging needs and various audiences.
Storytelling
* Effectively tells colleague and patient stories which are produced for the identified audience, connecting colleagues and services to our Mission, Vision and Values, and creating a strong brand presence in our communities through written and multimedia content.
Compliance/Safety
* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.
* Maintains confidentiality of all department, patient, and employee matters.
* Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training within the specified time frame.
* Stays current and complies with company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.
Qualifications:Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field- Required
Certification & Licensures
Experience
Healthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department. Colleagues must have an understanding of computers, and competence in using computers and basic software programs.
