Job Description: As the Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Redcon1, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the COO, you will oversee the development and implementation of quality control processes, manage compliance with industry regulations, and ensure that our products are safe and effective for our customers. Responsibilities: Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the production process, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, GMP, HACCP, and other industry standards. Familiarity in the Nutritional, Dietary, or Sports Supplements space. Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities, 3rd party fulfillment centers, and internally operated warehouses to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and co-manufacturers to ensure that all raw materials and components meet quality and safety standards. Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints, implementing corrective actions as needed. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality control and compliance, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control processes, procedures, and regulatory compliance. Train and educate staff on quality control and regulatory compliance requirements and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in quality control and regulatory compliance within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, specifically in the food and beverage sector. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA, GMP, HACCP, and industry-specific certifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Certification in quality assurance or regulatory affairs is a plus.
