Airport Janitor

**Job Description**

We are seeking dedicated Janitors to perform day-to-day cleaning activities in Zone 1 of SEATAC Airport, encompassing three terminals. Responsibilities include maintaining public-use areas such as seating areas, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, corridors, and arrival/departure gate areas. Basic responsibilities involve emptying waste baskets and ashtrays, dusting, spot cleaning, furniture care, desk tops, telephones, glass surfaces, upholstered surfaces, basic floor servicing (buffing, sweeping, vacuuming), and cleaning of fixtures, floors, and walls. Special Projects team members will handle tasks like window cleaning, seat cleaning/sanitizing, waste bin cleaning, and heavy lifting/moving of tables and chairs. Openings are available on both Day (5:30am - 2:00pm) and Night (9:30pm - 6:30am) shifts. This is a long-term, full-time role with potential for growth into lead, supervisor, management, and other career opportunities.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s) until direct hire.

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in SeaTac, Washington.

**Work Environment**

SEATAC Airport, working in the main terminal (public area) or one of the secure areas (various terminals). The role requires working 5 days a week with two consecutive days off, unless otherwise requested. Openings are available on Day (5:30am - 2:00pm) and Night (9:30pm - 6:30am) shifts. Employees will spend most of their time walking with a cleaning cart, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash. Parking options include offsite parking like LAZ Parking, transit, or employee parking in the parking deck after obtaining a SIDA badge. Parking expenses can be reimbursed up to $80/month with provided receipts.
