Overnight Janitor

**Job Description**

In need of an experienced Janitor to join our growing overnight team. You will perform day-to-day cleaning activities in Zone 1 of SEATAC Airport, which encompasses 3 terminals. These include public-use areas such as seating areas, bathrooms, lounges, lobbies, corridors, and arrival/departure gate areas. Basic responsibilities include emptying waste baskets and ashtrays; dusting, spot cleaning, care of furniture, desk tops, telephones, glass surfaces, upholstered surfaces; basic floor servicing (including buffing, sweeping, and vacuuming), cleaning of fixtures, floors, and walls; and policing of waste in restrooms. Some employees will be assigned to the Special Projects team to perform tasks like window cleaning, seat cleaning/sanitizing, and waste bin cleaning that fall outside of the daily checklists. This role can grow into lead, supervisor, management, and other career roles within one of the largest facility services companies in the world.

**Job Type**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Months until direct hire.

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in SeaTac, Washington.

**Work Environment**

SEATAC Airport, working in the main terminal (public area) or one of the secure areas (various terminals). 5 days/week with two consecutive days off, unless a specific request for non-consecutive days off is made, which can usually be accommodated. You will spend most of your time walking with a cleaning cart and sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash. Parking options include offsite parking like LAZ Parking, transit, or a monthly pass for employee parking in the parking deck once you have a SIDA badge. Parking expenses up to $80/month can be reimbursed with provided receipts.
