Avertium is actively seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead our dynamic, international team based in the US and Mexico. This role requires an experienced individual with a proven track record in orchestrating excellence across diverse IT services and delivery channels. As a seasoned leader, you will lead initiatives in user lifecycle management, technical support, security administration, and provide visionary guidance and thought leadership in our rapidly evolving industry. You will also exhibit expertise in cloud services and be able to navigate the complexities of vendor management.

Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the Avertium IT Support and Network Infrastructure function through problem resolution, tracking and reporting metrics
    • Create and assess key performance indicators, track metrics, and ensure reliable technologies across the organization.
    • Ensure governance, risk and compliance standards are met by facilitating and conducting assessments, audits and system certifications.
    • Develop and enforce policies and procedures aligned to third-party compliance and security audits (e.g. SOC II, etc.)
    • Manage the IT Operations and Support team to streamline operations, including support desk, patch management and corporate IT projects
    • Administer and manage service level agreements, metrics, budget, schedules, and performance requirements
    • Support and oversee cloud-based systems and network infrastructure
    • Lead cross-functional teams in both the US and Mexico to successfully execute projects and services
Qualifications:
    • 8+ of experience in enterprise and cloud-native architectures, product/solution design and build, pipelines/platforms integration and orchestration.
    • 8+ years of experience managing an information technology operational department including day-to-day operations, support desk, and IT project plans
    • Experience implementing frameworks (i.e., ITIL), evaluating current states, building new processes and procedures, and recommending changes to existing processes to drive service excellence, internal customer satisfaction, and organizational maturity.
    • Proven track record of expertise in network security infrastructure and architecture, operating systems, and project management
    • Experience leading and managing international teams and vendor resources
    • Demonstrated leadership, vendor management, and project management skills
    • Hands-on experience with IT governance and compliance including policy and procedure development, process design and implementation, systems selection and implementation, third-party compliance and audits (e.g., SOC 2, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience working and collaborating with executives
    • Occasional travel within US and MX
