Position Overview The Member Service Consultant will provide accurate, quality, timely, professional, confidential, and practical assistance in the lobby, drive-thru window, or by telephone. What qualities are we looking for in a Member Service Consultant? * Service and Quality Focused * Adaptable * Detail Oriented * Collaborative and Team Oriented * Self-Motivated * Critical Thinker and Problem Solver * Positive Attitude * Exceptional Organization * Excellent Communication Skills The position's essential duties include the following: * Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings, and borrowing members. * Follow policies, guidelines, and regulations to correctly identify and authenticate account owners, ensuring the protection and confidentiality of non-public information. * Assist prospective, new, and existing members with questions, inquiries, or requests on new or existing accounts. * Promote credit union products and services by identifying member needs and cross-selling benefits. * Deliver timely and exceptional service. * Build meaningful relationships through conversations and establish trust with the membership. * Balance and maintain ATMs. Troubleshoot minor problems with ATMs and cash recyclers. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager or designee. * Fulfill requests by performing clerical tasks and preparing mail, fax, or email delivery items. Education A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
