Job Description:

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Manage month end close process in collaboration with our partner organization.
  • Work closely with the Practice's accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Ensure Financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.
  • Work closely with the Accounting and Finance team in preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate external accounting needs, working closely with independent accounting and tax firms.
  • Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements.
  • Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications
  • Accounting Degree
  • 1-4 years of accounting experience
  • Experience with workday or another ERP platform is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
  • Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB
  • Strong excel skills.
