Duties and Responsibilities: Technical Responsibilities: Lead, train, and supervise a team of engineering reports during the design phase of projects. Expert in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and controls construction drawings and wiring diagrams. Experienced with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) or Direct Digital Controls (DDC) applications. Expert in understanding, practicing, and guiding others in the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Firm understanding of and ability to independently design complex Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring (EPMS) control system designs. Familiarity with BACnet and Modbus. Integrate mechanical and electrical equipment such as Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, VAV boxes, Chillers/Pumps, and more. Provide instrumentation specifications for complex control systems. Value engineer specifications to provide the most cost-effective solutions. Lead detailed design of network architecture diagrams for integrated systems. Provide support to field engineers during start-up and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers. Follow customer specific site standards and procedures. Provide excellent customer care and support. Project Responsibilities: Complete assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and under budget. Lead individual project related tasks and/or small to mid-sized projects in their entirety. Assume the ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of those projects or tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly responsible for team members training and development. Provide constructive feedback to team members. Manage performance and retention of team members. Required Skills and Abilities: Viewed by others as trustworthy. Listens well. Committed to further developing managerial and leadership skills. Overnight travel may be required up to 10%. Work Authorization/Other Requirements: Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required. Maintain a valid driver's license.
