Our client is an organization in the Minneapolis area looking for an
Accounting & Tax Manager.
This company is looking for someone who has 3+ years of tax experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to grow and learn. This company offers a close-knit team, great bonus structure and strong work-life balance with hybrid flexibility.
The salary range for this position is $80-100k + bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Main responsibility: provide outstanding personal service to small business clients.
Maintain smooth workflow throughout the year with efficient systems.
Supervise and review work of staff accountants on monthly compilations.
Analyze financial statements and advise clients.
Prepare and review business and personal tax returns.
Assist clients with ongoing tax planning.
Handle new client installations and back work.
Serve as primary contact person for a section of clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Provide advisory services, including business and financial advice, and computer & software support.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
3+ years of experience in the accounting profession.
CPA preferred.
Prior experience with preparing monthly compilations for businesses, preparing business and personal tax returns.
Highly motivated, energetic and friendly.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
