Job Description

Position Specifications:

Under general direction, perform functions to develop, implement and administer benefits, policies and programs to position the company for compliance within the laws and regulations in these areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Assists with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  2. Administration of affirmative action program; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
  3. Perform implementation, modification, and administration of benefit programs utilizing knowledge of appropriate laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Develop and distribute written and verbal information to inform and educate employees of the company's benefit programs
  5. Use the appropriate technical tools to perform clerical functions, such as maintaining records, processing new hire and Status Changes in Oracle, and preparing reports.
  6. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; writes and places advertisements.
  7. Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
  8. Train, mentor and lead by example to build constructive relationships by taking the initiative to make things better.
  9. Provides counsel and guidance to employees on Human Resources and related legal issues.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  11. Represent the company in the community and promote the company's goodwill interests in community activities.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Human Resource preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality both within the department and the organization as a whole.
  • Ability to interface well with all departments within the Company, including international locations and represent the Human Resource Department in a highly professional manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and eternal contacts to the organization, using verbal or written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and judgment
  • Ability to manage time and set priorities in order to meet designated deadlines.
Education
  • 4 years undergraduate degree + experience in a related field.
