Job Summary
The PeopleWorks (PW) Business Partner is a strategic partner to department leaders by embedding corporate PW strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional PW guidance and support to internal client groups with the objective of adding value to the business. This role is a critical contributor to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, efficient department structures and processes and to drive key performance behaviors.
Your Key Job Functions
Builds and implements long-term PW initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda and proactively identifies new opportunities for PW to improve and add value to the business.
Leads leadership teams with headcount forecasting and succession planning to support function and business strategy.
Facilitates and reviews key business performance targets and results and their related talent implications with business leaders.
Coaches and guides leaders on promoting culture of diversity and inclusion and to ensure high performance to TMs. Understands and solicits TM opinions and anticipates their needs and concerns.
Collaborates with business leaders in providing TMs with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards
Works cross-functionally with broader PW teams to ensure effective PW strategies.
Evaluates and provides key insights and market trends to help identify gaps and to demonstrate PW strategy effectiveness.
Manages specific projects as determined in the annual PW strategy and contributes to functional and cross-functional initiatives.
What You Bring to the Team
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
5+ years experience managing HR within a corporate environment with strong expertise in all HR practice areas including organizational design, succession planning, associate relations, talent development, talent acquisition and total rewards.
Proven track record in developing effective HR strategies and initiatives that strengthen organizational health and align with company business goals.
Solid communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across an organization at all levels.
Collaborative team player.
