Job Summary This role is a leadership position focused on the on-site execution of our construction projects, from foundation to finish. This position is exceptionally hands-on, requiring the Senior Superintendent to manage multiple projects, lead field teams, and ensure all work is completed to the highest standard. This key team member will be responsible for achieving client happiness by delivering quality work that is on budget and on time, acting as the primary on-site ambassador for the Artis brand. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction process from foundation to finish, ensuring projects are built to the highest quality standards. Lead, manage, and mentor multiple Construction Managers, Superintendents, and on-site field teams. Apply hands-on carpentry skills and a working knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to proactively solve problems and guide teams. Project Controls (Schedule, Budget & Quality) Track and update project scope, schedule, and budget daily using project management software (Buildertrend). Compile, follow, and forecast project timelines and budgets to ensure milestones are met. Enforce all relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards, managing all contracts, subcontracts, and field-level selections. Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for the client, translating complex timelines, budgets, and processes with confidence and ease. Act as a brand ambassador, collaborating closely with Construction Managers and the Director of Construction Operations to ensure seamless information flow. Use critical thinking and strategic, goal-oriented thinking to adapt to and solve problems as they arise, ensuring client satisfaction. Qualifications A minimum of 6+ years of proven construction project management or senior superintendent experience, with a solid track record on high-end residential projects. Capacity to simultaneously manage multiple jobs and field teams on projects in the $50,000 to $3 million range. Hands-on field experience and strong carpentry skills are required. Advanced knowledge of residential construction codes, processes, building products, and high-quality construction details. A high school diploma is required; higher-level education or certifications are a plus. Proficient with computers and project management software (Buildertrend experience is a significant plus). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and comprehensive planning abilities. Must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check and physical evaluation. Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract top-tier talent. The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and impact.
