Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Assist with security configuration standards for systems and business applications.
Create, maintain, and update security policies, processes, procedures for systems and business applications.
Serve as a member of the cybersecurity and change management teams.
Participate in technical and non-technical projects requiring cybersecurity oversight and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
Serve as an additional security team member, aiding in incident response (IR) with the IR and security operations center (SOC) teams.
Serve as a liaison for the cybersecurity team.
Improving the organization's overall security posture. Create, evaluate, test, and document security solutions and controls and work closely with other team members to remediate risk while ensuring the business can innovate.
Continually adapt to stay a step ahead of cyber attackers and stay up to date on the latest methods attackers use to infiltrate computer systems. Analysts in this role are expected to consistently learn and grow. This is not a passive career opportunity, but rather one that requires a passion for security and rigor to protect the business.
Collaborate with internal and external partners, along with technology management and business stakeholders.
Maintain vendor management standards, questionnaires, and documentation to adhere to regulatory compliances.
Interface with internal and external parties for assorted assessments.
Recommend new security solutions and effective improvements to existing security controls that do not negatively impact business innovation.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
At least 5 years of information/cybersecurity experience or IT system administration with security.
Understand what security requirements are needed for implementing technical systems and how to monitor them for unusual and suspicious activity across a wide range of products.
Expertise in incident response and system monitoring and analysis.
Experience with compliance and framework requirements (examples, but not necessarily: CCPA, GLBA, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, CIS Controls, NIST CSF, COBIT, etc.).
Ability to effectively communicate business risk as it relates to cybersecurity.
Experience in conducting risk and other assessments that protect the business and adhere to compliance and privacy laws.
Knowledge of multiple computing platforms, including Windows, OSX, Linux, Unix, networks, and endpoints.
5+ years of experience with the following (required):
Vulnerability and penetration testing engagements
Change management and project management.
Creating policies, standards, and guidelines.
Handling Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analysis.
Creating and maintaining report dashboards.
Working with 3rd party vendor security reviews and assessments.
