The role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary Content Developer Advisor here at EnerMech. The Content Developer Advisor position will support Operations and Maintenance training material development, emphasising Production Operations and Maintenance Crafts (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation).

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:

Lead all material development workshops with trainers and outside professionals, define assessment criteria across crafts and multiple functional disciplines, and ensured competency levels were defined across O&M roles. Leads technical reviews of Operator Training Simulator (OTS) scenarios to ensure they are technically accurate and address human factors/error trap removal. Leads Operating Procedure development and writing of new or rewriting existing procedures and other operational documents from primary source material, including process and instrumentation diagrams, vendor manuals and field operator notes. Facilitates cross-functional reviews of OTS scenarios to assure competence development and training of abnormal conditions/response. Works closely with DCS and Field Operators, Mechanical Instrument and Electrical Technicians and Peer trainers to assist in all issues related to training content material development or improvement. Coordinate with Production Superintendent, Shift Team Leader and Trainers to assess new content development and system improvement priorities Engages the workforce to remain current on new projects and operating philosophy changes to update training materials to reflect the safest, most efficient operating and maintenance practices. Works closely with the C&D Competency Assessor for required assessment reviews and identifies/implements changes and improvements in the training content to support workforce development. Delivers training and development of operators to ensure they achieve the level of competency as defined in the Operations Progression scheme. Supports operator competency assessments and field-led assurance activities for Conduct of Operations framework e.g. Operating Procedures, Operator Routine Duties, Bypassing Critical Protective Devices, etc. 10th May, 2024

Recognised Qualifications and Experience:

Essential: Operations and/or Maintenance Technician with intimate knowledge of the LNG Operations and/or Complex Petrochemical Processing Minimum of fifteen (15) years of work experience working in the oil and gas industry, within Production or Maintenance functions. Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing training and assessment content materials for Production and Maintenance technical professionals Preferred: Demonstrated experience operating and/or directly supporting Distributed Control System (DCS) console operations in LNG Proven self-starter with experience in standing up or demonstrated abilities to stand-up a brand-new organization. Proven leader with demonstrated evidence of delivering results. Demonstrated experience operating and/or directly supporting Distributed Control System (DCS) console operations in LNG Successful demonstrated experience working in complex plant facility and leading others (and the front line and/or second line level) Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) Good Interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluent in English and intermediate knowledge of Portuguese language (preferred)
