The Senior HR Project Lead plays a critical role in enhancing HR processes and supporting major HR activities, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and compliance programs. Scope The Senior HR Project Lead will work closely with the Head of Human Resources and other senior leaders to manage a variety of HR projects, including but not limited to talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, HR compliance, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and HR technology implementations. This role will have a significant impact on the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations, contributing to the organization’s success by enhancing HR processes and supporting strategic HR goals. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head of HR with leading HR due diligence efforts in M&A activities, assessing potential risks and integration challenges. Assist the Head of HR with developing and implementing HR integration plans to ensure seamless transitions during mergers and acquisitions. Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to address HR-related aspects of M&A transactions. Assist the Head of Human Resources in planning and managing HR projects from initiation to completion. Assist the Head of HR in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate project team members, assign tasks, and track project progress. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. Support the Head of HR in analyzing existing HR processes and identifying opportunities for improvement. Implement best practices to streamline HR operations and enhance efficiency. Develop and maintain process documentation. Ensure HR projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR compliance requirements and implement necessary changes. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Prepare and present project reports to the Head of HR. Maintain accurate project documentation and records. Conduct a comprehensive HR audit to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Highly self-motivated and objective-driven decision-maker. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and fluent in English. Demonstrated experience managing complex HR projects, including compliance and M&A initiatives. Proven track record of successful HR project delivery on time and within budget. Experience in developing and implementing HR compliance programs and conducting compliance audits. Expertise in HR due diligence and integration processes during mergers and acquisitions. Experience in various HR Competencies. Education and Professional Qualification Broad experience across a range of HR functions. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. Adaptable and able to thrive in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment. Working Conditions This role is a remote position, but the candidate must be in the Saint Cloud, Kissimmee, or Orlando, FL area and open for travel if needed. Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.
