Avocados From Mexico is looking to hire a Retail Analyst to assist in analyzing data from a variety of sources and delivering actionable insights. The Retail Analyst is responsible for delivering data and insights through easy-to-understand storytelling that can be used by the Commercial Team to drive category growth. The Retail Analyst will act as a bridge between Research & Analytics and the Commercial Team with future development in Research and other department Analytics such as Marketing and Food Service.Responsibilities Maintain existing weekly and monthly reporting for the Commercial Team from a variety of sources such as Excel, PowerBI, USDA, Nielsen, Circana, Numerator, etc.Create new reporting in collaboration with the Commercial Team from existing sources automated within excel for future movement into PowerBIConduct Post Analysis on retail shopper programs, coupons/rebates, store audits, assortment mix, and other miscellaneous programmingCollaborate with management to create and deliver annual category, regional, and retailer analysis that uncover opportunities for the Commercial Team and drive retail shopper program participationSupport cross-functional teams on ad-hoc analysis requestsOwn and maintain the Commercial Teams Metric & KPI Tracker, communicating and updating findings with Senior ManagementAsses the tools, reports, and analysis for the Commercial Team consolidating, refining, streamlining, and automating where possibleResponsible for department budget management/tracking and ensures proper reconciliation with FinanceAdditional responsibilities as needed.Skills/Qualifications Analytical experience working in Retail or CPG Food & BeverageAdvanced Excel Skills capable of building reports, managing complex formulas, and automating where possiblePassion for streamline and automation, always looking for improvementStrong project management, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHighly proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to visualize data and tell a story with actionable insightsLow level understanding of data lakes, PowerBI, and other data visualizations toolsCritical thinker with a strong sense of curiosity and interest in uncovering hidden trendsSelf-starter with a passion for executing with excellenceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with ambiguity utilizing syndicated dataOutstanding written & oral communication skillsExhibits tenacity in reaching goalsEducation/ Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree required and in related field preferred (Business, Retail, Research, etc.)Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Retail or CPG Food & Beverage AnalyticsAdvanced Excel experience is required#J-18808-Ljbffr
