Our client is an international manufacturing company based in Milwaukee. This employer is currently interviewing candidates for a key position on the finance team.

The Financial Analyst III will be responsible for providing financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for appropriate functional areas and all corresponding departments within the plant, business unit or corporate group. This person will coordinate the development of cost of sales, expense, capital, and headcount budgets, and forecasts for assigned area.

This is a long term contract role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial support for assigned departments.
  • Manage monthly performance reports, financial analysis, and expense variance reviews.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions when needed.
  • Participates in capital expenditure and financial modeling along with special projects as required.
  • Utilize financial reporting software and business intelligence tools to gather and analyze data.
  • Analyze complex financial data to create actionable insights that support business decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, cost accounting, capital expenditure analysis or forecasting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • CPA certification a plus.
