Compensation RangeHourly: $18.00 - $23.80 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobA Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of jobs in the Bank Operations division. The areas include Wire Transfer, ACH, Trust Operations, Capital Markets Group Operations, Treasury & Commercial Customer Support and others as the need arises. The Bank Operations Specialist may also work on projects and provide suggestions for improvement initiatives. Essential FunctionsPerform temporary assignments in operational business units such as Card Security or Disputes, Loan Servicing, Account Maintenance & Support, Deposit Services, and others as assignedRespond to incoming calls, manage online account inquiries and troubleshoot technical issuesNavigate a multitude of internal systems to accomplish daily tasksEngage professionally with both internal and external customersExamine processes and procedures for improvement suggestionsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredBasic knowledge of the banking industryAbility to routinely learn new support functionsAbility to utilize a technical aptitude that allows for quick learning company systems, platforms and productsAbility to utilize discretion for when to escalate issues appropriatelyAbility to identify workflow or process improvements to increase efficiencyMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and OutlookEducation & ExperienceAssociate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required3+ years financial services or related experience required1+ year customer service experience required1+ year bank operations experience preferred**Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education ***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. This compensation range is for the Bank Operations Specialist or senior level job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation.
