The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.
Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.
IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
**SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION:**
The Global IT Director, Supply Chain Services is responsible for leading and overseeing the technology strategy, systems and operations that drive supply chain innovation and efficiency.
The IT Director of Supply Chain will play a critical role in shaping technology capabilities, ensuring seamless integration of systems, optimizing processes, and enabling data-driven, decision making across supply chain operations.
_Based in Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY the IT Director, Supply Chain Service Line will report to the DVP and CIO, Corporate Technology and Staffs._
**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
_Partnership & Strategy_
+ Working with Supply Chain Leadership and Business Division leaders develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy and roadmap aligned with Cornings supply chain goals and objectives.
+ Develop a market competitive supply chain capability to deliver cost effective services, successful implementation, integration, and support of supply chain technology solutions.
+ Collaboration with leadership to identify opportunities and innovative solutions for leveraging technology to enhance supply chain capabilities.
+ Collaborate and manage direct business engagement with the Global Supply Management Service team.
+ Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases and manage service expectations.
+ Ensure adherence to cost, quality, security, and risk management requirements.
_Digital_
+ Drive digital transformation mindset and thought leadership for forward-leaning supply chain and manufacturing technologies.
+ Utilize data analytics to generate insights, predictive models, and actionable recommendations.
_Operational Support, Delivery & Lifecycle Management_
+ Accountable for lifecycle management to ensure adherence to cost, quality, reliability, and security,
+ Accountable for Supply Chain service technology execution to ensure services are delivered meeting expected service quality and strategic requirements.
+ Lead major incidents that interrupt service availability or diminish performance within the service line.
+ Create an ongoing multi-regional support organization that will effectively manage the portfolio of services to ensure sustainability and drive the roadmap forward.
+ Form and leverage strategic relationships with key third party vendors.
**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or technical science
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**
+ ????10-15 years of progressive experience within IT and Supply Chain domains
+ Expertise in IT methodologies to drive the business requirements of the future state.
+ Ability to understand implications of technology solutions.
+ Proficiency in SAP supply chain management systems and digital toolsets
**PREFERRED SKILLS**
+ Forward thinking with a passion for process improvement and standardization
+ Ability to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire team.
+ Working knowledge of digital concepts such as Agile, DevSecOps, Quality of Service, etc.
+ Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence, and emerging technologies
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment (plants and operations) is a plus.
+ Operational IT management skills at a global scale.
+ Ability to drive projects to successful conclusion using influencing tools.
+ Must be a self-starter, able to work in a team environment and motivate others.

20% travel required, international and domestic.

The range for this position is
$192,836.00
-
$265,150.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
