Firehouse Subs is a fast, casual restaurant that steams hot sub sandwiches in a friendly, upbeat environment. We are founded by real firefighters, our stores are full of hard-working, fun-loving people with a genuine drive for success.

At Firehouse Subs Restaurants you will find that we are pretty straightforward in our operational style. We believe in working hard and providing a positive environment, providing as much training as possible, treating you fairly and honestly and providing long-term development and growth opportunities. Our goal is to be the best sub shop in every neighborhood.

What is a manager?

The Manager is one who supervises the restaurant, ensuring excellent service and optimum profitability by running efficient and effective shifts. You have the authority to make certain decisions that affect employee and guest satisfaction. Scheduling and Inventory responsibilities, as well as training opportunities.

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operations of the restaurant. This involves knowing all skill positions and the sequence of service from greeting the guest to exit greetings. Ensure operating shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllable, and sales growth.

The manager is an intricate part of the management team, the training that will be provided, can grow skills for an excellent foundation to build your career with our Firehouse Subs

To become a Manager, you must:

Have prior fast food/restaurant manager work experience (1 year or more preferred)
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Follow specifications, policies, and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual provided by the Owner
  • Be able to work in a team environment and promote productivity
  • Be an effective communicator
  • Have a good attitude
  • Be reliable
  • Maintain an organized and Food Safety compliant work area
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner at all times
  • Execute the Firehouse Subs Brand Standard
