Job Summary:
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules, engineering maintenance requests, and new work orders are performed and accurately recorded. Provide a monthly work plan to the Director of Engineering for approval. Monitor and implement training required to fulfill the multi-skills policy set by hotel management. Promote environmental sustainability by reducing waste, recycling when possible, and reusing materials when applicable.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
A total of 10 years in the engineering field, with at least 5 years in a management role.
Proven experience in managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, other departments, and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address engineering challenges.
Familiarity with industry-specific standards, regulations, and best practices.
Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia will be considered.
