MVP Consulting Plus, Inc. (Albany, NY) seeks IT Specialist to work on Technical Services projects in Medical Informatics. Work on creation of new, and regular maintenance of associated flat files, relational databases, and associated scripts to adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements. Develop applications to implement data into information for business decision-making using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Develop pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into databases, and apply data mining and data modeling to extract and analyze information from large datasets. Create Python scripts for automated data retrieval, transformation, and database reinsertion of multiple tables on a regular basis. Utilize tools such as RedCap, MySQL, and Python, among others, to support development platforms, technical architectures, and business applications/products that run on those platforms.
Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Applications, Data Science, or a closely related field. One (1) year of experience in data science-related positions, to include producing reports from flat-file and relational data sources, and managing data/reporting using tools including Python, SQL, Pyspark, Databricks, H2O, Jupyter Notebooks, Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Salary: $89,690/year
