Base pay range $100,000.00/yr $125,000.00/yr Benefits Competitive base salary and bonus Benefits package Cell phone and laptop Company truck Gas card Generous PTO (15+ days depending on experience) 401(k) plan with company match Job Details Location: Chicagoland area Industry: Construction Underground Utilities and Infrastructure Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of underground utility projects, including sewer, water, and other infrastructure projects. Develop and execute project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management strategies. Lead a team of project professionals and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment. Ensure all project activities comply with company and industry safety standards. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle. Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders. Continually seek opportunities to improve project management processes and techniques. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, focusing on underground utilities and sewer projects. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred. Proven experience in managing large?scale, complex underground utility projects. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and safety regulations. Proficient in project management software and tools. Exceptional problem?solving skills, thinking strategically and making sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Highly organized and detail?oriented, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Professional certification in project management (PMP) is preferred. Application Interested in hearing more?
