The Process Engineering group at Haartz is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team New ideas, new technologies and new ways of thinking are driving our future

This is what you will be doing:

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for process design, development and validation and in specifying and purchasing production equipment.

Some Job Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional teams that are focused on environmental sustainability and waste reduction in facility.
  • Assist manufacturing with addressing mechanical, engineering and production issues.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve using various continuous improvement tools including use of a FMEA.
  • Implement long term corrective actions to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ) losses.
  • Investigate and launch new manufacturing technologies.
  • Follow scale-up of developed products from pilot through full scale production with focus on design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Conduct internal training sessions relating to product and/or process improvements.
  • Understand how to use statistical process control to optimize machine parameters.
  • Create and conduct designed experiments to achieve 6 sigma process performance.
  • Perform work with high degree of independence.
  • Limited travel may be required to support various job responsibilities.
This is what you should bring:

Bachelor's degree (B.S.); accredited in a technical discipline, such as Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and at minimum 6 years related experience.
