Responsibilities

West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders‘ headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature:

  • 150 beds
  • A 37-bay emergency department
  • Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites.
  • Endoscopy suites
  • Cardiac catheterization labs
  • An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
  • An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders.
  • Inpatient nursing care units.

Job Description:

Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Fills orders for medications, monitor patient‘s drug therapies and provide drug information.

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education:

Bachelor‘s degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)

Experience:

One (1) year experience in hospital setting preferred.

Technical Skills:

Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)

License/Certification:

Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada.
