As a Pre-Certification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in obtaining insurance pre-authorizations for medical procedures and services, contributing to the seamless functioning of our pain management practice. The ideal candidate is proficient in navigating insurance procedures, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary information for insurance pre-authorization. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for pain management services. Prepare and submit accurate and timely pre-authorization requests to insurance companies. Communicate with insurance representatives to ensure timely approvals and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain detailed records of all pre-authorization activities and documentation. Qualifications: Previous experience in medical insurance pre-certification or related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
