What you'll be doing?
DFS promises to be the world traveler's preferred destination for luxurious shopping. We offer our customers a carefully curated selection of exceptional products from over 700 of the world's leading brands across multiple categories: fashion, beauty & fragrances, watches & jewelry and wines & spirits. We are currently searching for an experienced and motivated Sales Associate, Watches to work Full-Time in our Los Angeles International Airport store in Tom Bradley International Terminal. *This is an hourly, non-exempt, union position. The pay range is $22.25-$24.50 per hour.
The role:As the Sales Associate, Watches you will be the brand ambassador and a smiling face of DFS. Every customer you approach will see you as the face of our brand. You will be a critical link between the Product and the Customer. You will provide luxury customer service, build customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with the sales and productivity targets.
Selling via the Best Customer ExperienceAssist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer serviceProvide a unique one-on one consultation; cultivate loyal customers by offering professional advice on product assortmentComplete customer transactions in a professional and timely mannerIdentify customer's temperaments and recommend products that suit their styleRespond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous mannerAssist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to the minimum
Floor and Product PresentationEnsure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirementsMaintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the departmentBe familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriateAssist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities and merchandise stock flow
Ideal Candidate
High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job1-2 years of retail experience; previous beauty, customer service, hospitality services, or luxury brand experience preferredComfortable with one-on-one elevated customer serviceFamiliar with using the POS Terminal; with accurate and quick transaction handling abilityAbility to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessarySecondary language speaking beneficial, but not required
