Responsibilities and Duties Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide technical expertise and support in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Test Planning and Execution: Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. The test cases would include UI, API, Batch Job and Database validation. Exposure and hands-on background in software test automation Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs found during testing. Work closely with development and product teams to ensure defects are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance testing strategies, tools, and processes to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, product management, and customer support teams to understand product requirements, resolve quality issues, and ensure that quality goals are met. Risk Management: Identify potential quality issues per defined process and escalate them to management. Reporting and Documentation: Develop quality assurance metrics and reports to monitor QA effectiveness, and ensure proper documentation of test plans, test cases, and test outcomes. Test Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test frameworks and tools that support diverse testing strategies, including integration, end to end, performance, and security testing.
