We have partnered with an ERP preferred partner and reseller that is looking to add to their team of Functional Consultants. The position responsibilities are, but not limited to:

The ERP Technical/Functional Consultant plays a critical role in providing software installation, ERP platform upgrades, and configuration services for our clients. Working closely with the IT group, this individual drives customer success by defining project scope and delivering world-class services based on client-specific requirements. They may also be involved in pre-sales activities, client education, and industry presentations. While most customer interaction is remote, consultants may need to go onsite to client locations. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade ERP technology to ensure successful client adoption of new systems and administrative processes, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with existing software solutions.
Guide clients through best practices regarding software, configuration, and implementation, continuously improving processes.
Provide services to configure, train, and test solutions and processes.
Collaborate with developers and technical teams to customize ERP software to align with client specifications.
Facilitate meetings related to application use, such as business process reviews, planning sessions, setup, testing, go-live readiness, data import/conversion, custom report needs, and documentation.
Manage ongoing relationships with subscription clients and drive new consulting projects and upgrades.
Collaborate with leadership and project teams on implementation schedules, open items, and project risks.
Ensure smooth transition and adoption of ERP systems by end-users through effective change management strategies.
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to maximize the value of ERP investments.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to address client issues or challenges.
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with clients to understand their business processes, goals, and challenges.

Requirements:
3+ years of experience successfully implementing and supporting ERP systems as a consultant or internal subject matter expert.
Understanding of finance, accounting, and business workflows.
Bachelors degree.
Experience with small to mid-sized businesses, ideally within manufacturing, professional services, or other project-based industries.
Ability to simplify complex concepts while executing at the technical detail level.
Excellent communication skills across organizational hierarchies.
Comprehensive documentation skills for ERP configurations, processes, and user guides.
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, including:Creating and managing database connections directly or via ODBC.
Performing database backups, restores, installations, and setups.
Administering SSRS, running reports, and designing maintenance plans.
Troubleshooting database issues, ERP application errors, and platform issues.
Familiarity with SQL programmability (Stored Procedures, Views, etc.).
Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
