Bluehawk Consulting is seeking a Level III Construction Project Manager to support our client, an aerospace leader. Our client is making space travel possible, and your work will directly support putting people, research, and products safely in space.
Project Overview The Construction Project Manager Level III is responsible for project execution and represents our client in all aspects of the project. This individual shall be the central figure and authority for management of the project within the approved scope and budget. The individual shall ensure adequate monitoring and controls are in place to meet or exceed the client's requirements. The role shall be responsible for coordinating and executing all phases of the project from planning to closeout and turnover.
Responsibilities The following defines the specific tasks of the Construction Project Manager Level III but is in no way meant to be exhaustive as each project will have its unique requirements:
- Ensure Suppliers are complying with company's policies.
- Develop and maintain the project management plan.
- Work with stakeholders to develop requirements documentation.
- Establish a communications plan; including establishing regular meetings to facilitate information flow.
- Develop and maintain a roles and responsibilities matrix.
- Develop and maintain the project schedule.
- Coordinate &/or develop Statements of Work & Requests for Proposals with the assistance of the Design Manager.
- Change management, reviewing changes for need and cost.
- Manage project budget and ensure spending plans are met.
- Maintain monthly cashflow projections.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders; permitting agencies, and third-party reviewers/inspectors.
- Ensure timely responses to Requests for Information.
- Review submittals and ensure the appropriate stakeholders have approved as required.
- Seek opportunities for value engineering.
- Ensure project design and implementation adheres to the client's Facility Design Criteria.
- Develop and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure Suppliers are complying with contractual requirements.
- Ensure project documents are turned over to the client at the conclusion of the project.
- Keep the client informed of project status.
- 10+ years of experience required.
- Ability to work on site full-time.
