Job Details:
Location: Greenbush
Shift: PM Cook
Job Schedule: 11:30am-8:00pm
Hours: 32 per week
FTE: 0.8 Full Time
Weekend: every other
Holidays: every other
Pay: $17.70 - $23.01

Sign-on Bonus $3000

What you'll get to do in this role:

Acting supervisor in the absence of food service supervisor and manager.

Reviews menus, recipes, spreads and production sheets to determine food to prepare.

Plans cooking schedule to ensure that food will be ready at specified times.

Prepares food in correct quantities using proper food preparation and techniques to conserve nutritive value and quality of foods.

Ensuring food is served in a safety and timely manner.Uses food thermometers to determine that foods are at the proper temperature for meal service, i.e., 165 F internal temperature, and records temperatures.

Serves food according to spreadsheets, patient/resident requests and menus.

Provides support, documentation, and communication to ensure smooth operations in the Department.

Maintains work areas to meet sanitation and safety standards.

Maintaining proper dress code including good personal hygiene.

You're an excellent fit, if you have:
  • On site training available
  • 1 yr institutional food service experience as a cook preferred
  • current MN certifed food protection manager (CFPM) preferred
  • great customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work independently
