This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organization known for delivering complex engineering solutions and precision components to leading aerospace and defense customers. The company provides advanced machining, fabrication, and repair services supporting both commercial and military engine programs. We are seeking a motivated, skilled machinist who is comfortable working with large components, tight tolerances, and high-performance materials in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC Lathe machines, with the ability to run multiple machines simultaneously within machining cells. Machine large aerospace components ranging from 30" to 70" in diameter. Work with hard-to-machine metals including Inconel, Titanium, and Stainless Steel. Read and interpret customer blueprints, specifications, operation process sheets, and GD&T requirements. Use Fanuc controls, making offsets and adjustments as needed. Load parts and fixtures onto machine tools using overhead hoists; secure components and verify proper setup. Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine. Set up tools and review tool sheets to ensure proper configuration for each job. Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and swing gauges to verify parts meet tolerances. Operate right-angle heads and specialty attachments as required. Maintain accuracy within thousandths of an inch, ensuring parts meet strict aerospace quality standards. Review, follow, and update documentation as needed; perform other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Manager. Job Requirements 5+ years operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment; aerospace experience strongly preferred. Previous experience working with major aerospace OEMs (e.g., Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Rolls-Royce) is a plus. Solid understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining principles. Ability to stand for extended periods and climb short stair platforms to access machine controls. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment. Ability to work overtime as needed. Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Why This Role?
