Job: Forklift Operator Rate: $16-19/hour Location: Racine, WI Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will be tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the forklift while adhering to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse or production area. - Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. - Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as inspecting and checking forklift components and fluids. - Keep accurate records of materials moved and inventory levels. - Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. - Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed. Requirements: - Proven experience as a forklift operator (certification preferred). - Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. - High school diploma or equivalent.
