Surveillance Network Security Specialist Join the Turning Stone Enterprises team as our newest Surveillance Network Security Specialist. In this position, you will play a key role in upholding and enhancing our company's network infrastructure to guarantee dependable, protected, and high-performing connectivity throughout all systems. If you possess skills in setting up and resolving issues with network hardware and software, overseeing firewalls and security protocols, and assisting with daily network operations, then this opportunity is ideal for you. What You Will Do as a Surveillance Network Security Specialist: Be responsible for LAN design, installation, administration, and maintenance Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network problems and performance issues Be responsible for the setup and maintenance of security settings on workstations and switches; maintain antivirus software, firewalls, switch port security, and strong password policies Maintain the Storage Area Network Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior Install, administer, and troubleshoot network security solutions Create network policies and authorization roles, and defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction Assist with internal and external security audits Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities Conduct and coordinate security training for staff Write and present project proposals for department's needs Coordinate project needs and requirements with appropriate departments and outside contractors Coordinate with the Network Manager and distributors/suppliers to organize purchasing accounts for equipment and parts Keep technical aspects of the department organized, and ensure accurate filing for all projects, equipment acquisitions, pricing, warranty information, etc. Who We Are: We are Turning Stone Enterprises, a dynamic organization with a diverse range of business operations. Work Experience: An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Network Administration, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field preferred; commensurate work experience will be considered At least five years of related experience Strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems Certification in CompTIA Network+ and Security+ is preferred Ability to use hand tools and specialty electronic tools for the repair and installation of equipment Knowledge of Extreme Networking is a plus Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41-50 pounds What We Value: Positivity Team members who are passionate to learn, energetic to hit the ground running, and willing to grow in a professional, team-oriented environment with a focus on guest service.
