Trademark Docket Clerk

We have an exciting opportunity for a first-rate Trademark Docket Clerk in Roseland, NJ. This is a hybrid remote work opportunity.

What You'll Do:

• Docket and maintain deadlines relating to all phases of trademark applications and enforcement matters in CPi database.
• Review all incoming correspondence from USPTO, foreign associates, attorneys and paralegals for essential docketing.
• Prepare comprehensive docket and status reports for circulation as needed for attorneys and clients.
• Closely monitor deadlines and follow-up with attorneys & paralegals.
• Record any changes in title, owner, address, and counsel, as appropriate.
• Support paralegals with trademark maintenance (renewals, use filings, etc.) by reviewing docket, using established forms to prepare and send correspondence to clients about upcoming deadlines.
• Prepare written communications to foreign associates, attorneys and clients during screening, filing, prosecution and maintenance of domestic and foreign trademark applications and registrations.
• Assist with diligence searches, research assignments and administrative projects, and prepare reports in connection therewith.
• Coordinate documentation for the prosecution or defense of contested matters worldwide.
• Provide support to trademark team as needed.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college is preferred.
• 3 plus years of law firm experience preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft software product with Excel skills preferred.
• Enjoy working with a team.
