Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil/Site team in our growing Clinton, NJ office. Responsibilities: Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in land development Independently evaluate, select and adapt standard techniques, procedures and criteria Design complete projects, systems, components or processes Prepare advanced general and basic non-routine engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy Prepare complete project documents Analyze and interpret data, formulate and solve problems Prepare scopes of work, budgets and schedule assignments Assist with proposal development for professional services Provide direction to engineers, technicians and administrative staff Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work Attend meetings and present specific components of assignments Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines Perform field investigations/ site visits as needed Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 5-8 years of relevant experience PE preferred Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other related software packages, as applicable Demonstrate general computer skills, knowledge and acumen (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite) Ability to effectively work as part of a team (i.e.., collaborate, contribute, respect others) Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge Demonstrate advanced, general and basic non-routine knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices Demonstrate advanced investigative, analytical and research skills Demonstrate basic speaking skills to communicate general technical ideas, concepts and information to a technical and nontechnical audience Demonstrate advanced technical and nontechnical writing, editing and proofreading skills Demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written for the purpose of client, contractor and co-worker interactions
