Role Description: As the Marketing Director at Paladin, you will dive deeply into the tactical day-to-day operations of marketing, with a heavy emphasis on content creation, campaign execution, and directly generating inbound leads. This role is hands-on, requiring you to not only devise but also personally execute strategic marketing initiatives alongside a small, agile team. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales and the CEO, your mission will be to craft compelling content and deploy dynamic marketing campaigns that drive substantial inbound sales and elevate our brand presence. This position is ideal for a scrappy, motivated individual eager to take a front-line approach to marketing within a company that's making a real difference in the world. Responsibilities: Personally develop and execute a hands-on marketing strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and significantly boosts inbound revenue. Produce and manage high-quality content across all marketing channels, including digital marketing, email campaigns, social media, SEO/SEM, ensuring Paladin's message reaches the right audience effectively. Work closely with the VP of Sales and the CEO to ensure that marketing efforts are tightly integrated with sales objectives and the company's broader goals. Directly handle the operational aspects of campaigns, from content creation to performance analysis, optimizing for maximum lead generation and brand impact. Analyze market trends and customer insights hands-on to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities. Manage and execute the marketing budget with a focus on maximizing ROI and driving substantial revenue growth through direct marketing efforts. Spearhead the development of engaging, innovative campaigns that resonate deeply with our target audiences and reinforce Paladin as a leader in public safety technology. Lead the direct analysis and reporting of marketing performance, leveraging data to inform and optimize ongoing and future campaigns. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on marketing experience, including substantial time spent directly creating content and executing campaigns. Demonstrated ability to effectively generate inbound leads and drive marketing strategies that significantly impact revenue. Strong operational skills with a proven track record of personally crafting and leading impactful marketing initiatives. Excellent analytical skills, with a knack for turning data into actionable, revenue-generating strategies. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of quickly adapting and thriving in a dynamic, hands-on work environment. Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for hands-on marketing and a relentless drive to achieve results. Location: This position is based in Houston, with flexibility for full remote work.
