In this role, you will design and implement innovative wifi and networking features to delight our residential and business customers. Joining us and growing up together We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Los Gatos, CA, USA Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - 4+ years of programming with C and Python or Golang - 2+ years of experience working with networking protocols from layer 2,3 and 4 - Hands-on experience with networking hardware, such as access points, routers, and switches. - Thorough knowledge of network protocols and standards, including 802.11, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, as well as familiarity with Linux bridge and network stack internals. - Solid background in embedded systems or consumer electronics.
